Frozen Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  • 250 ml milk*
  • 50-60 g dark chocolate (85%)**
  • sugar or sweetener to taste
  • 12 ice cubes***
  • whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
  1. Heat the milk with the chocolate on medium high heat until chocolate has melted.

  2. Add sugar or sweetener to taste.

  3. Let cool completely.

  4. Pour cooled chocolate milk into a blender and add ice cubes.

  5. Blend until all ice cubes have broken down.

  6. Pour into a tall glass, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and... ENJOY!

Recipe Notes

*I used regular full-fat milk, but you can sub with any other type of milk. Consistency might change though.

**You can use other types of chocolate, but the higher the cocoa %, the deeper the flavor and the lower the sugar content.

***I used my NutriBullet, which is a high power blender. If you use a blender with less power, you might need to crush the ice cubes first.

TIP: try adding different flavorings like vanilla, cinnamon etc.
